The P ZERO™ Race TLR SL is crafted to pack the key benefits of tubeless technology, grip, rolling and handling into a race-day product emphasizing speed and handling beyond the scope of what they have produced before (TT and lightweight tubulars included). After three years of development working with the fastest racers at the World Tour level, Pirelli designed this new tubeless-ready tire with the new SmartEVO compound to provide their Pro Riders, as well as yourself, with the best Pirelli tire ever made!

SmartEVO Compound

The new SmartEVO Compound uses a blend with 3 different polymers, each of them providing a specific performance while guaranteeing a perfect balance of opposite characteristics: the endless goal for rubber technicians. To complete this project, Pirelli utilized its exceptional experience developed in over a 100 years of Motorsport in addition to implementing their vast cycling expertise, of always performing at the highest level.

Pirelli's in-depth knowledge and chemical expertise has enabled the Pirelli material engineers and chemists to an advanced use of a ternary polymer blend in order to guarantee “smart” behavior characteristic as the base of the outstanding properties of the SmartEVO Compound, resulting in a better grip on dry and wet, while also improving the rolling resistance. A performance package ride enabled and tuned for all the modern road disciplines and terrains, from local or World Tour racing, to epic adventures where climate and road surfaces demand tyres that perform in all circumstances.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
