With the Dura Ace RD-R9100 rear derailleur, Shimano introduces Shadow RD technology, best known from the MTB sector, to the world of Road bikes. Thanks to the particularly flat profile, damage is prevented and quiet, clean and safe operation is guaranteed even on uneven surfaces. The new direct mount option accommodates frames with thru axle dropouts. The super light Dura Ace rear derailleur is mainly made of carbon. Its short cage (SS type) is compatible with 11-speed cassettes up to 11-30 teeth.
